Terms and Conditions

All bookings made through Chikkamagaluru Escapes are subject to availability.
A minimum deposit of 50% of the total package cost is required to secure your booking.
Full payment must be made no later than 7 days before the start of your trip.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, UPI, and net banking.
Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email and WhatsApp once payment is received.

For Package Bookings:
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before check-in will receive a full refund (minus a small service fee).
- Cancellations made between 7 to 13 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable.
For Vehicle Rentals:
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the rental start date will receive a full refund (minus a small processing fee).
- Cancellations made between 3 to 6 days before the rental will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 3 days before the rental are non-refundable.

Changes to your booking (including dates, number of guests, or services) can be made up to 7 days before check-in, subject to availability.
Any modifications may incur additional charges, depending on availability and request type.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of receiving the cancellation request.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.

Check-in time is from 2:00 PM, and check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guests must respect the rules of the homestay, including noise restrictions and property care.
Any damage to property during the stay will be the responsibility of the guest and may result in additional charges.

All vehicles provided by Chikkamagaluru Escapes include a driver; self-driving is not permitted.
In the event of a breakdown or accident, immediate assistance will be provided. However, the company holds no responsibility for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.
Any damages or loss caused by the guest’s negligence may result in additional charges.

Guests are required to have personal travel insurance covering accidents, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings.
For adventure activities such as hiking or trekking, guests must be in good health and participate at their own risk. Chikkamagaluru Escapes will not be responsible for any injuries incurred.

We are committed to protecting your personal information. Your data will only be used for booking and communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Activities such as music, campfires, and sightseeing are included as part of our packages. However, Chikkamagaluru Escapes reserves the right to modify or cancel certain activities due to weather conditions or other factors beyond our control.
We cannot be held liable for any cancellations or changes caused by external factors (e.g., weather, natural disasters, or strikes).

Chikkamagaluru Escapes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your trip, including but not limited to travel delays, personal injury, or property loss.
Guests must follow the guidelines provided for safety and adhere to local laws during the stay or tours. The company is not responsible for any legal action taken against guests for violating local laws.

Chikkamagaluru Escapes shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of services due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or pandemics.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chikkamagaluru.

Chikkamagaluru Escapes reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
