Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Chikkamagaluru Escapes, we strive to ensure your comfort and convenience. However, we understand that plans may change, and we’ve designed our Refund and Cancellation Policy to be as transparent and flexible as possible. Please read the following terms carefully before making a booking.

1. Homestay Booking Refund and Cancellation Policy
1.1 Cancellation by Guest
Cancellations made 14 days or more before check-in: Full refund, minus a service fee of [amount or percentage]. The service fee covers administrative costs associated with the booking.
Cancellations made 7 to 13 days before check-in: 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in: No refund will be provided, as it will be considered a last-minute cancellation.
1.2 Early Check-Out
In case of early check-out, the remaining nights of your stay are non-refundable.
Guests are responsible for the full payment of the originally booked duration.
1.3 No-Show Policy
If the guest does not check-in on the scheduled date, it will be considered a “no-show,” and no refund will be issued.
1.4 Change of Dates
Requests to change booking dates must be made at least 7 days before check-in. Such requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
2. Vehicle Rental Refund and Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation by Guest
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the rental start date: Full refund, minus a processing fee of [mention amount or percentage].
Cancellations made 3 to 6 days before the rental start date: 50% of the rental amount will be refunded.
Cancellations made less than 3 days before the rental start date: No refund will be provided.
2.2 Early Return of Vehicles
If a vehicle is returned earlier than the rental period booked, there will be no refund for the unused time.
2.3 No-Show Policy
If the guest does not collect the vehicle on the scheduled rental date, no refund will be issued, and the rental will be treated as a “no-show.”
2.4 Change of Dates
Requests to change the rental dates must be made at least 3 days before the rental start date. Date changes are subject to vehicle availability and may incur additional charges.
3. Cancellations by Chikkamagaluru Escapes
In rare cases, Chikkamagaluru Escapes may need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, road blockages, or government regulations. In such cases:

We will offer an alternative booking date at no additional cost, or
Provide a full refund of the amount paid by the guest, with no further liability to the company.
4. Payment of Refunds
Refunds will be processed within [X] business days of the cancellation request, after deducting any applicable fees or charges as per the policy.
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (e.g., bank transfer, credit card, etc.) used for the booking.
5. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as natural calamities, strikes, or government restrictions (Force Majeure), we are not liable for any refunds. We will, however, make every effort to reschedule bookings or offer alternate solutions.
